Types of Through Conduit Valves

The through conduit gate valve is a typical parallel gate valve. Red Point manufactures through conduit gate valves in two series: slab gate with self relieving seats and expanding wedge construction. To reduce the operating force during opening and closing a pressure balanced stem is part of our capabilities.

Hard Facing Disc

Wedge and seats are ground and lapped to a mirror finish and tightly guided to prevent dragging and seat damage.
Body and bonnet joint accurately machined with high surface finish stem and packing chamber.
Low emission valve technology with a design optimized for extended service life.
Low compression packing reduces friction and allows more room to re-torque in the field.
Packing ring construction for excellent sealing and a corrosion inhibitor.
Due to the full bore configuration the valve is piggable.
Option: live loaded gland bolting
Lantern ring with double packing (upper & lower) for critical services
